10 Months Old

Hayden turned 10 months old yesterday. I really can't believe that we are preparing for his first Thanksgiving, first Christmas and the big 1st birthday is right around the corner.
Our little guy never ceases to amaze us. He now jabbers all the time. We have conversations quite often and he loves it. He is trying his best to walk. He just hasn't quite got the courage to let go with both hands when he takes his steps. He loves to pull up on the side of the tub when I'm running his bath water and he sometimes will try his best to crawl in on his own but he just can't get them little legs high enough. He is a speed demon at crawling and he usually goes for things that he is not suppose to touch i.e. the electrical outlets are fascinating. We are getting covers for those. He is even faster when he is in the walker and he loves to chase you in it too.
I have bought him the Gerber Biter Biscuits and he loves them and they are horribly messy so he usually only gets one a day. He also likes the little yogurt bites too. He still really does care for the sippy cup, he would just rather bang it around and bite on it but if somebody has a water bottle he loves to take drinks from those.
I don't have a lot of pictures since Halloween but here are some of Hayden enjoying a biter biscuit:

Wow Mom these things are great!!!!

I can eat them all by myself.

But there is something sticky on my hand.

1st Halloween

This was Hayden's very first Halloween and it went pretty good. Once we got him all dressed up we went by Nanny and Papa's, Landmark to see Granny and she absolutely loved his pumpkin outfit, then to see Grandmother and then off to Gran and Paw Rick's house. After we made the "rounds" we headed to church for our annual Fest-i-Fall. Carey and I had to work the bouncers for a little bit but before we got started and before it got busy Tina and I let Hayden and Knox have a little time in the bouncer. They weren't to sure about it but they loved watching the kids in the bouncer next to them. Paw Rick watched Hayden for us while we worked and when we found them afterwards Hayden was fast asleep in Paw's arms. We went to Saltillo to see Aunt Kim, Claire and Claudia and Hayden slept the whole way there. I guess being the cutest pumpkin ever is tiring. He had a blast though when we got to see Aunt Kim and the girls. He loved chasing after the dogs at Aunt Kim's friend's house. By the way he absolutely loves dogs. Rhonda and Kayla both have dogs and when they have them at Grandmother's Hayden laughs and chases after them the whole time. Well here are some cute pictures from the weekend. Enjoy!!!!

I think this picture was from last weekend but anyways, I had just got done feeding Hayden and was cleaning up the kitchen and looked over and he was conked out.

Hayden and Cole having a little chat.

Take 1, w/ thumb in the mouth.

Take 2, no thumb.

Hayden was getting tired by this point but I had to get some pictures in his costume.

The pumpkin and inch worm. AKA Hayden and Knox. Ain't they cute.

They were easily distracted by the other kids.

They got a little time in the bouncer before it got busy.

Hayden didn't know what to think about the bouncer.

Distracted again by the kids in the other bouncer.

9 Months Old

Well I'm late on posting again. Our baby boy was 9 months old on Friday, October 9th. He is growing up so fast. He absolutely loves his walker and flys around the house in it. He keeps his Nanny on her toes as well. He loves for you just to let him crawl around the house too. He loves to explore new things and loves any toy that makes lots of noise. He says Da da da da da all day long w/ the occasional Mom mom mom and/or Na na na. He has a new laugh that sounds something like woody wood pecker. We absolutely love it and it is hilarious. We no longer use a bath seat Hayden loves to get on his belly in the tub and crawl and splash around, he especially loves to splash Momma. Gosh, time just flies by. I can remember being scared to even put him in the tub. Well here are a few of his latest photos.

Well as you can see hunting season is in full swing at our house.
Hayden almost has as much camo as Daddy does.

Daddy can't wait til he is big enough to go with him.

Nanny and Papaw found a cute hat of Uncle Mickey's that is now Hayden's hat.

Suits him just right. LOL.

8 Months Old, 1st Vacation, Crawling and Teeth

Oh my gosh. I know it has been a while since I updated and our baby boy is about to be 9 months old. But anyways he was 8 months old on September 9th. I feel like time is flying by. He now has a tooth that has broken through and it is visible, when he let's you see it. There is another one coming through beside it now. He also has experienced his very 1st vacation. We went to the Smokey Mountains this past week and had a blast. It was so nice to get away and just be with family. We took him to the Ripley's Aquarium and he loved it. He was amazed with everything and did really good too. I was so excited to take him. He loved the big schools of fish I think those were his favorites. Carey would stand him up by the glass and he would just stare and bang on the glass. Of course you know anytime you tour something like that you always have to exit through the gift shop......well his Gran bought him a little stuffed sting ray, which by the way he loves. Carey said he couldn't go through the aquarium for the 1st time and not get a souvenir.
While we were in the mountains Hayden perfected his crawling on all fours and by the way he is really fast. He also took his first dip in the hot tub (don't worry we turned the temp. down for him). We took his walker and he cruised the cabin in it and also got into every cabinet and drawer that he could get in. I've got some really cute videos of him and as soon as I can figure out how to load my videos to my editing program I will post them too.
We are getting into the stage of attachment right now and it's breaking my heart. He has cried the last two times we have left him in the nursery but not for long Mrs. Tina was there to console him and he loves his Mrs. Tina. It's not as bad when I take him to Nanny's but he still fusses a little bit. I know it's a stage and most all kids go through it but man it's tough on momma's heart.
Hayden has an addiction to phones. Kayla watched him for us one night while I had a jewelry show and Carey was working. When I came home I found him conked out in Kayla's lap w/ her phone in his hands. She said he played w/ it all night.

Ready to eat some banana.

Diving in.

On the move.

Sweet thang.

I tried my best to get a picture of his first tooth and it didn't turn out so good but I promise it's there and there is one coming in beside it.
He loved playing in Paw Rick's suitcase.

This fun little set up was outside the aquarium. Hayden is a little over 2ft tall.

My two most favorite guys in the world.
