Tigers and Lions and Bears Oh My!!!

Hayden had his first Zoo trip this past weekend. It was a beautiful day and he had a blast at the Zoo. He loved to point things out to me and Daddy. He is such a curious little boy and we enjoyed our day we got to spend together.
Momma and Hayden at the lion exhibit.

Showing Daddy the hippos.

Checking out the otters.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of Buddha. A lady sitting besides us told him to rub his belly for good luck. Well he was more interested in showing us Buddha's bellybutton.

Walking with Daddy to see what's next.

I think they were looking at some monkeys.

He loved the panda exhibit. He has my old panda bear and he loves to wrestle with it and cuddle with it so this exhibit was so cool to him. Plus the pandas come right up to the glass and Hayden would die out laughing when the panda would come by.

Just love my guys.

Checking out the rhino with Daddy.

Hayden was too busy to take a picture.
After we left the zoo we went by to visit Aunt Doris. This was Hayden and Aunt Doris's first time to meet. He loved running around her house and we really enjoyed getting to visit. He finally crashed after several runs around the house. After we left Aunt Doris's we went to visit Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Mickey in Olive Branch. Hayden slept the whole 15 to 20 minutes it took to get to their house so needless to say he didn't quite get his nap out. But he loved running around Uncle Mick and Aunt Cheryl's house too. He played with Aunt Cheryl's workout ball and playing with their dog Doc. We went out to eat with them and that didn't go so well with an extremely tired 15 month old. He did okay for a while then we all took turns walking him to the lobster tank and outside. Hayden after a long battle with sleepyness finally gave in and slept most of the way home.

Fun Outside and Easter Weekend

Hayden has been a busy lil guy. Since the weather has finally gotten nice we have been to Kids Town a few times. Hayden's first trip there was so much fun. He loves to explore and this was the perfect place to let him roam. Of course he needed a little help here and there but he loved it. He loves to swing and slide but he found the motorcycle and that was one of his favorite things b/c it had a steering wheel. Here are some pictures from his 1st time at Kids Town.

He and Mommy had just gone down the slide and he was ready to go again.

On the motorcycle.

He loves to swing.

Headed to the slide.

We try to go see Granny at Landmark as often as we can. Hayden loves to play with her wheel chair. He will play with the brake handle and he tries his best to push her.

Hayden's cousin Noah Nash just turned two and we were invited to Tad's Pizza Party for his birthday party. Hayden had soo much fun at Tad's. Our cousin Chandler went along and helped out with Hayden.

Taken a cruise on the Jungle Jeep.

Cruising in the Bat Mobile.

The picture is blurry but this was his favorite thing to do. Chandler would climb with him and slide down this big inflatable slide.

Chandler won him a big inflatable bat.

We got to go to the older part of the park one evening to play.

Hayden had his first Easter Egg Hunt this past Saturday and he loved it. I was really upset my camera battery died after we took a group picture. But he had a great time hunting Easter Eggs.

We tried to get a group picture but Hayden wasn't interested. Instead he took his basket and Emma's basket and headed to the playground.

He decided Emma's basket was better.

Now he is not even in the picture.

We went by to show Me Me, his Easter Eggs.

It was time for a nap. Can you tell??

After his nap I put his cute but too big for him outfit on and attempted to take some pictures of him.

Look it's Uncle Evan.

He loved walking through the clovers.

Uncle Evan took him to see the other patches of clovers.

We went by to see Nanny and Papa and he decided to sweep the leaves with a fly swatter.

Easter morning we gave him his Easter goodies. He loves loves loves trucks and cars basically anything with wheels that could possibly make a motor sound so we got him two new trucks. We want him to understand the true meaning of Easter so Sunday morning we explained the true meaning of Easter I know he doesn't understand yet but a head start never hurts.

Our couch makes a great road.

I tried to get a good picture of him in his Easter outfit but he was just interested in going down the front porch steps.
