Oh my gosh. I know it has been a while since I updated and our baby boy is about to be 9 months old. But anyways he was 8 months old on September 9th. I feel like time is flying by. He now has a tooth that has broken through and it is visible, when he let's you see it. There is another one coming through beside it now. He also has experienced his very 1st vacation. We went to the Smokey Mountains this past week and had a blast. It was so nice to get away and just be with family. We took him to the Ripley's Aquarium and he loved it. He was amazed with everything and did really good too. I was so excited to take him. He loved the big schools of fish I think those were his favorites. Carey would stand him up by the glass and he would just stare and bang on the glass. Of course you know anytime you tour something like that you always have to exit through the gift shop......well his Gran bought him a little stuffed sting ray, which by the way he loves. Carey said he couldn't go through the aquarium for the 1st time and not get a souvenir.
While we were in the mountains Hayden perfected his crawling on all fours and by the way he is really fast. He also took his first dip in the hot tub (don't worry we turned the temp. down for him). We took his walker and he cruised the cabin in it and also got into every cabinet and drawer that he could get in. I've got some really cute videos of him and as soon as I can figure out how to load my videos to my editing program I will post them too.
We are getting into the stage of attachment right now and it's breaking my heart. He has cried the last two times we have left him in the nursery but not for long Mrs. Tina was there to console him and he loves his Mrs. Tina. It's not as bad when I take him to Nanny's but he still fusses a little bit. I know it's a stage and most all kids go through it but man it's tough on momma's heart.
