He's One and Having Fun

Wow!!!! I can't believe our baby is about to be 14 months old. He is walking/running everywhere now. Carey and I are so proud of him. He is so smart and his curiosity is so fun to watch. His appetite has really picked up. The child is like Mikey he'll eat anything. I know it has been a while since I posted last so here are some fun pictures of our little guy. Enjoy......

One of his favorite things to do when we're in the kitchen is to play in the cabinets. So I have made this one cabinet his very own. It has a bunch of paper cups in there for him to throw out and play with.

Ohhh I just love those baby blues!!!

We got him a few goodies for Valentines day. He got some foam numbers and letters for the bath tub and a new Veggie Tales dvd.

Showing us his dvd.

A few weekends ago the weather was really nice so we decided to have some fun outside and help daddy put out corn for the turkey birds. I'm terrified of him getting an earache so that is the reason for the boggin.

He hates shoes and socks so the first thing he did after I strapped him in was pull them off. He is such a little country boy.

Checking for signs of turkeys with daddy.

Ohhh I just love my guys.

He has even gotten the hang of walking while drinking/holding his sippy.

We took Hayden last Tuesday to get his very 1st haircut. Mrs. Jeannie McCreary at Boonevegas Salon was nice enough to cut it for us.

His wild hair.

We all cheered for him once he was done and he joined in on the fun. He did such a good job.

Thanks Mrs. Jeannie!!!!!

Last Saturday was Marley's birthday party and we went to have some fun. Marley is my friend Leslie's little girl and she thinks Hayden is her little brother. She told me when he was first born she didn't know what she was going to do with her three little brothers. She is sooo sweet and loves Hayden.

Watching the big kids play ball.

Getting some love from the birthday girl.

Hayden is always messing with Carey's shoes. I made a quick trip to the grocery store and when I came back this is how I was greeted.

The little stinker thought it was sooo funny.

Hayden loves to help me fold laundry and occasionally he likes to play in the basket.

And He's Off.....

I'm sooo mad at my self because I left my memory card in my computer at work and our baby boy has taken some major steps this evening. My mom got some pictures on her phone so I will try to post them soon. He has been taking little two steps here and there but this afternoon he took 3 steps to his Nanny. Then this evening while visiting Yah Yah he took 4 steps to her then back to momma. THEN....... while playing with momma and Yah Yah he took about 7 to 8 steps all by himself!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say we screamed once he was done then in true Hayden fashion he turned around and grinned with all 4 teeth and giggled and clapped for himself. Since then he has been going back and forth between Paw Rick, Yah Yah and Momma. Daddy is unfortunately at work tonight but Momma has called and given him the good news. We are so proud of our little man.

Okay, I have added the one and only picture from that crazy night. It's a little blurry but beggers can't be choosers. Enjoy....

1 Year Old!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh how time flies. I'm about in tears writing this post. Our baby boy was 1 year old Saturday. I can't believe it. Carey and I discussed Friday night what we were doing this time last year. Since we had a scheduled section we were nervously getting everything together for the next day. I don't think I slept a wink that night. I remember taking a shower at like 4:30 a.m. and we didn't have to be at the hospital until 8:00 a.m. and now we have just celebrated our precious baby's 1st birthday.
When we got up Saturday morning we of course sang happy birthday to our little guy and he looked at us like we were crazy. I made him pancakes, which he loved, then Hayden and mommy got ready to go pick up his birthday cake from Mrs. Melissa. I absolutely loved his cake. We will be using Mrs. Melissa every year from now on.
We had a big bash for him at the church. We rented a bouncer and brought some of his toys from home. Hayden loves Mickey Mouse so that was our theme. When the bouncer arrived I was so excited and ready for Hayden to play but that was not the case he didn't like the bouncer one bit. I think it was the noise from the air pump or maybe it was the size of it, not sure but he didn't like it at all. But it was a big hit with everyone else. Well here are some pictures from the big day......

His very delicious very cute birthday cake. Thanks Mrs. Melissa it was great.

His cake table.

His very own cake.

Getting some birthday loving from Gran (aka Yah Yah).

He wasn't crazy about the bouncer or the noise from it.

Checking out the bouncer from a distance.

Hey guys!!!

Hayden is very partial to his choo choo and he wasn't keen on sharing and Momma made him very mad when she told him he had to share his toys.

Knox finally got to play with the choo choo without Hayden's interference.

The birthday cake with the big 1 candle.

He wasn't sure why everybody was singing.

Mom helped him get a little taste.

Look at all these dots.

Just a little bite mom.

Clark noticed something on Hayden's face.

Mrs. Melissa this cake sure is good.

What you lookin at??

Ummmm.
The aftermath.

This is so cool.

I'm ready to ride.

Look ya'll it has eyes.

He was pooped out by the end of the party. He takes after his Uncle Evan with falling asleep at the wheel.

He didn't like the bouncer when it was inflated but it was great fun after it was deflated.

The Starlings got him a school bus that is so neat.

New bath toys yeah!!!

Trying to open more than one at a time.
Hayden's buddy Alec got him a whale for bath time and he decided he needed to taste test.

Checking out the goods.

Hurry Daddy, hurry!!!

And the presents are scattered all over the living room.

Leslie and Marley stopped by Sunday afternoon to bring Hayden his present. He got a little tractor with a farmer and a trailer, which he loves. Thanks Lou and Moo!!
