English Christmas

Christmas afternoon, we spent at Grandmother's for the English Christmas. Hayden had already had a big day but he was still ready to open more presents.

Grandmother saw Hayden was getting impatient about the presents so she went ahead and let him open a little gift from her. He got this cute little Christmas Moose. He really likes to pull on the lights on his antlers.

Yeah this is a great picture...... of Kayla. LOL. Hayden had not had a nap all day and I knew he was getting fussy so I tried getting him to take his bottle and laying back but there was too much excitement going on.
Daddy trying a hand at it. (Don't they look cute in their matching grey shirts and jeans)

Kayla taking a picture of me taking her picture. LOL. She is so crazy.

Uncle Evan (aka "E") thought he looked cute in Hayden's bogin.

Hayden taste testing Kayla's camera.
Finally, he got to open presents.

He really got the hang of it.
Wow.!!! He got an Addias suit.... and
An MSU sippy cup and toothbrush...... and
A camo blanket w/ his name on it. Thanks Jones!!
My camera battery went dead after this picture but he got a great Mickey Mouse Choo Choo Train from Grandmother and he absolutely loves it. I will have to get the pictures off Carey's phone and I will post them. After all the fun and chaos of the day we went home and took a long nap. Hayden's first Christmas was great and we couldn't have asked for a better day with our family.

Granny's 90th Birthday and Hayden's Very 1st Christmas Present

Oh my what a busy time of the year. We just recently celebrated Granny's 90th birthday. We brought her to Nanny's from the Landmark and had a little party for her. She really enjoyed it but her favorite part was or course watching and playing with Hayden. Nanny takes them for rides in Granny's wheel chair and she and Hayden just love it.

This was the biggest smile she had all day.
This past Sunday we had our Christmas with Kim, Chris, Claire and Claudia and boy was it fun. Hayden got to open his very 1st Christmas present and he had a blast. The girls had so much fun watching him that they forgot they had gifts too.
He finally got his hands on it.

Then decided to crawl on top of it.

Then he finally got to tear into it.
Piece by piece.

He thinks he is sooo cool.

Aunt Kim put a toy dog in his little compartment and he decided he didn't like it.

Out dog!!!

So serious.

Crashing it into furniture.
Such a big boy.
With Christmas only 3 days away there will be many more fun posts to come so stay tuned. Love you all and have a very Merry Christmas.

11 Months Old

Oh my word..... our baby will be 11 months old tomorrow. We are already making preparations for his 1st birthday party. We are so lucky to have the honor of being Hayden Bruce's parents and we love this little guy more than words could ever explain.
Hayden experienced his very first Christmas parade last night. He wasn't quite sure what was going on but he seemed amazed by all the lights. Here are some pictures from last nights parade.
Hayden and Daddy waiting on the parade to start.
He sat on the arm rest between Gran and Paw Rick. He looked like such a big kid sitting there.

I caught everyone off guard except Hayden.

Hayden talking with Gran.

When's this thing going to start??

This was the highlight of the parade for Hayden. He loved playing with the steering wheel.

Finally, the parade started.

This was his look for most of the parade.

Had to get a picture of them big kissable cheeks.

Tried to get a picture of Hayden w/ me but he didn't want to look.

After the parade we went to Gran and Paw Rick's.
Hayden has an obsession w/ remotes, just like all men do.

I made a few attempts to get a picture of Hayden and Gran by the Christmas tree with no luck. He was more interested in playing with the ornaments.

All this parade business has worn me out.
Hayden stays with Nanny most of the work week and he loves his Nanny and Papa. He keeps Nanny on her toes too. Carey had to install stoppers for the cabinets and drawers at their house b/c Hayden is a very curious little boy but his favorite thing to do was just open and slam the cabinet doors. His new favorite thing to do is crawl under the kitchen table at Nanny's and go over and under the bars of the chairs.
Playing with his giraffe.

Under the kitchen table.

Going over the bar.

Under the bar.

Giving his Grinch smile.

And back to the table and chairs he goes.

Sweet baby!!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Okay....I'm horrible. With all the going and running this past weekend, this Momma, I guess forgot she had a camera. Hayden had great time, he meet got to meet some family members for the first time, he ate some good Thanksgiving food..... and watched the Egg Bowl with Momma (Daddy was in the deer woods of course, however, he killed 3 does so we've got some meat). Here are the 3 pictures I managed to get.
The most important picture from Thanksgiving Weekend!!!!

Hayden's 1st Egg Bowl and man it was a good one!!!!

Okay... tried to get a picture of all 3 of them but either Hayden was looking and they weren't or they looked and Hayden either wasn't looking or blinked.

The next few pictures are from a few weeks ago. Hayden loves this little chest that we have in the living room so I just took a few cute pictures of him. He is just so close to walking.... he can stand on his own for a little bit. He is just getting so big and loves to explore. He loves to play with boxes, water bottles and occasionally his toys.

Our sweet little baby is getting so big.
